BIOMES

“This rabbit infestation has gone on long enough!” she said, readying the cages. Surveying the surrounding forest, she thought, “This habitat is perfect for the bobcat." As soon as the cages were opened, the cats hastily entered the forest, hungry for their next meal. The rabbit population will inevitably be depleted, but they will bounce back. They always do.

In Biomes, each player adopts the role of a conservation officer in an animal sanctuary. Benefactors will pay handsomely to see their favorite animals thrive. Each player will purchase rescued animals and aim to manipulate the landscape to maximize the proliferation of their animal. Careful decision making must be considered as predators enter the game, threatening to erase your animal’s existence. At the end of the game, the player with the most money will be the winner.
